AM-VFT Vortex Flow Transmitter

When it comes to measuring flow accurately and inexpensively nothing beats a vortex shedding flow meter. If your pipe is between 3/8” and 2” and cutting it is not an issue then your flow measurement search can stop right here.
The vortex flow meter works by inserting a thin so-called “shedder bar” inside the meter. Votices that are caused by flowing water and switch sides of the bar at a frequency that is proportional to the flow. Because the measurement principle is straightforward the circuitry can be embedded right in the enclosure resulting in a 4-20 mA output sensor. The result is a simple flow transmitter that is inexpensive and robust.
The AM-VFT is available with socket weld ports or FNPT threads.
